Finally an update!!!

Okay Katie...I finally updated the blog. I have to say that I did try last night but our computer is in need of a major update so it's slow and I was too impatient to wait for it. But it's done now. Watch out because there is a major picture overload!! Mylie is changing so much! She gives kisses now and she actually knows she's doing it. Your face gets soaking wet with her slober but it's the cutest thing ever! I know she's all I ever write about on this blog but she's my life....So there you have it, an update of pictures. Enjoy!

Goodbye Tulah

A few years ago Mike and I found an add on KSL for a free basset hound to a good family. I love, love, love basset hounds so I called on the add right away. The dog was Tulah (her real name is Tullulah but we call her Tulah for short). The girl who was giving her away had rescued her from the pound when she was just a puppy. She was moving and couldn't take her with her so she had to find a new home for her. She lived in Logan, which is a very long drive from AF but we decided to drive there to meet Tulah anyway. As soon as I met her I was crazy about her. I've never in my life loved a dog so much! She's so sweet!! We ended up taking her home with us and we've had her now for 2 years. Unfortunatly we have to give her up now. When I had Mylie there was not enough time left in the day to give Tulah the attention she needed so we decided that we needed to find her a home where she would get attention and hopefully as much love as we've given her. We've been putting it off because we don't want to give her up but it's finally time. We found a good home for her, thanks to our friend Tory, and I know she is going to be happy there. The family we're giving her to had a basset hound that they had to put to sleep about a year ago and they have been heartbroken since so they are very excited to get Tulah. So today I say farewell to Tulah. The best dog ever!!! I hope you like your new home and you get all the attention you deserve and that you live a long and happy life.

This might be a little corny but I really and truly love this dog and I'm so sad to give her up!!!

Bright green text

I just updated the background on my blog and I can't seem to change the color of the text on my last post. So for all those reading it....sorry for the bright green! I'll keep working on it and maybe with some luck I'll be able to fix it. There isn't much going on in our lives right now. We have been working on our yard (yuck! I hate yard work) theses days. We haven't been able to get much done but it's coming along. We're pouring a new driveway (Well my brother-in-law is pouring a new driveway for us. Thanks Aaron!!) and putting a fence up. We already had a fence but it was so horrible looking that we couldn't stand to look at it anymore. I have some pictures of the entire project so I'll have to post them when I can get around to it. Don't hold your breath though...I'm kind of slow at updating this! Anyway, that's about all that's happening right now. Hope everything is well with everyone else!!
