Bad hair

As I was going through our pictures the other day, I noticed that we have a lot of pictures of Mylie with bad hair. So this post is dedicated to the bad hair days of Mylie...








The second to last one is my personal favorite. I wish you guys could see all of the other pictures. There are so many more pictures with crazy hair!! We love her...Crazy hair and all.

I'm that guy from Office Space!

You know that guy from the movie Office Space? The one the company fires but never tells him he's fired so he's still working there? The one who is obsessed with the stapler? That's me this week. Well, besides the stapler part. Let me explain...
About six months ago my boss informed me he was going to work for another bank and asked me if I would come with him and be his processor. I gladly excepted because he is the worlds best boss. So I left the job I had been at for six years to start at a new place. Six months passed and my boss informed me he was going to start a new bank with some investors and he would be quitting to pursue that opportunity. Since it was just he and I in our office, I assumed that when he quit they would tell me they didn't have anything for me to do and that I no longer had a job. I prepared myself for this and actually got somewhat excited to be able to stay home for a little bit. Well to my surprise they wanted to keep me. The only thing was, I would need to commute to Holladay. I wasn't thrilled but hey, a job is a job. So they told me to tie things up in my current office and then to start working in Holladay. The only thing is, they didn't tell me when to start coming to Holladay or what my new hours would be. So I called and called. I left message after message. I still haven't heard back from anybody. I called again today and I was actually able to talk to a live person. That person didn't know anything....What is a girl to do? So I'm sitting in my office in Provo by myself and wondering if I'm going to get a paycheck next week or not. Are they trying to tell me something????

Itzy Bitzy

In my search for some good shoes for Mylie, I came across a website I love! It's called Itzy Bitzy (check it out at www.itzybitzy.com). The business was started by a mother from Utah who had twin daughters, one of which was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome. Check out the site and read their story. I was so inspired by this family that I just had to share the site with you guys. As a mother I can't even begin to imagine how hard it would be to watch your child go through the struggles that are associated with Treacher Collins and I'm so inspired by this woman and her family. Happy Birthday Sweet Baby Girl!

Happy Birthday Mylie! Today our baby girl is one year old! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by!! Our lives have been so blessed by our Mylie and we couldn't ask for anything more. We can't wait to see what the next year brings!
