Well Hello Again....

So, it's been a while.  I don't know where the time has gone.  It feels like just a couple weeks ago that I updated this blog but I guess it's been a few months.  Soooo much has been going on but, of course, I'm terrible at taking pictures of fun events.  Here's a little overview of the last couple of months.

April...well I can't remember much of April besides Mylie and soccer and Easter activities.  Nothing to write home about I guess.

Mylie graduated from preschool in May.  They had a little program and it was adorable.  I did take pictures but not with my nice camera so they are all really bad.  Here are some of the better ones.

Graduation day!

 Mylie and Mrs. Krissi

In June we went to Arizona.  Twice.  The first time we went was for Mike's cousins wedding.  We had so much fun!  Mike's aunt got us a really nice condo to stay in while we were there.  The kids had a ball.  Guess what....I didn't take a single picture of the condo.  Oh, I'm so horrible!  Anyway, while we were in Arizona we decided to go see Mike's grandma Nelson.  Her health had been declining over the past couple of years and we haven't been able to see her since Mylie was two.  So we drove from Mesa to Eagar to visit Grandma.  It was a really sweet reunion.  Grandma couldn't always remember people but she knew who all of us were the moment she saw us.  We were all crying.  I'm so glad we were able to see her because the very next day she slipped into a coma and a week later she passed away (which is why we ended up going to Arizona twice in a month).  We miss her so much but are so grateful we got to see her before she left us.

This is our last picture with Grandma

In July we did a lot of stuff.  We bought the Pass of All Passes so we've gone to Seven Peaks a bunch of times as well as Trafalga.  No pictures though.  We also had my family reunion.  It was lots of fun to see everyone.  My niece and nephews were there, which was a special treat because we don't get to see them often and Mylie and Addie adore them.

My girls are such hams!  Addie wouldn't let me take her pictures and Mylie is quite the poser.

So far we haven't done much in August but we hope to be able to go to the zoo and to finish painting our bunk beds.  The girls are really excited for those!  Preschool will start again at the end of the month and Mylie is really excited.  I'm glad I get one more year of preschool before I loose my baby to Kindergarten.

Mylie Starts Soccer

Our cute little Mylie started soccer a couple of weeks ago. She was so excited and she actually is really good at playing it! I hope she continues to enjoy it because it's so cute to watch. Here are a couple of pictures of her first soccer game.

Randomness....

It's been a while, a LONG while, since I've updated. It's been so long that I can't even begin to go back and piece it all together so instead, here is a bunch of randomness...
Back in December Mylie had a little Christmas program for her preschool. It was the cutest thing ever. The pictures are horrible but I had to post them anyway. Look at her just singing her heart out! This little girl LOVES to sing.
I just like this picture. They look so cute with their little red noses. Mylie and the little boy she sat next to were so funny the whole time. They just kept playing with each other and not paying attention. We were laughing our heads off.
Addie is the same happy-go-lucky girl she always is. She's grown so much and is seriously one of the cutest kids on earth. She gets away with a lot because we just can't resist her! Every morning when she wakes up she asks me for a cookie. Don't think me a horrible mother, but most of the time I give it to her. I just can't help myself.
We've had a lot of family movie nights lately. The girls love to eat their popcorn and snuggle up to each other. I also have a lot of popcorn under my couch because of family movie night. It's okay though, I love having the time together even if it does mean I have lots of popcorn to clean up after.
Mylie and Addie play so well together. I'm really proud of Mylie and how great of a big sister she is. She loves Addie so much and really enjoys having her around. Addie adores Mylie too. I couldn't ask for better girlies.
They play so well together, in fact, I've found Mylie in Addie's crib a couple of times when they were suppose to be going to bed. I had to laugh when I walked in the room this night because they were just playing with their dolls and telling each other stories (according to Mylie).
Mylie learned how to right her name without any help from mom or dad so we took her to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate. While we were there she told me she wished we had gone to McDonalds. Lesson learned. I guess next time we'll skip the bad pizza and creepy characters and head straight for the bad burgers and filthy play place.
We have really been enjoying the nice weather. Addie LOVES to swing and Mylie will do anything if it means we're outside. This day we tried to go for a walk/bike ride. We made it one block before Addie started screaming "Swing!" and Mylie was tired of riding her scooter. We headed back home and and fun on the swing set instead. This little swing set has been so nice to have. The girls spend lots of time playing on it.
We've also been enjoying what little bit of snow we've got. Last time it snowed we went out and made a daddy and a daughter snowman. I only had M&M's to use for the eyes and mouth. Addie picked all the M&M's off and ate them. Silly girl.
