The happenings of my people (a post I meant to post 3 months ago)

Long time no blog, huh?  I swear I'm going to try to be better.  Since it's been so long I'm just going to post a couple of pictures of what has happened over the last few months.  Sorry about the terrible pictures.  I got an iPhone and have not used my actual camera since then.  Lesson learned.  From now on I'll be using the REAL camera. Also, they are a little out of order.  Oh well though.

 Addie turned two in October.  I can't believe she's already two (two and a half now).  She's been potty trained since shortly after her birthday and is almost totally independent.  We're so out of the baby phase of life, I'm not sure we'll ever be able to go back.

 Mylie turned 5 in November.  She decided she wanted a pirate themed party.  We did our best to make it a fun pirate day for her.  She had a party with all her cousins and then we went to a movie with some friends that night.  She's getting so big!  I wish I could just freeze the time.  She's already reading and has her first loose tooth.  She's getting really excited to start kindergarten later this year.  Mom wants to cry about that.

 Mylie had a Christmas program for her preschool again this year and my dad got to meet this dude.  As I'm posting this I for the life of me can't remember his name....George something.  Anyway, he's on the TV show called Jungle Gold.  He and a buddy of his go to Africa and hunt for gold, I guess.  Anyway, it just so happens that Mylie is best buddies with his daughter.  My dad was super pumped to meet the guy and was totally embarrassed when I asked George if I could take a picture of them together.

Addie was a zebra for Halloween and I have to say, she was a mighty cute one!

Mylie was a snow princess.  She couldn't decide if she wanted to be a fairy or a princess this year so she was a fairy by day and a snow princess by night.  She looked beautiful!

Wow! It's been a while....

It's been a very long while since I posted last.  Time slipped away from me I guess.  Lots has happened but since I'm so far behind, I'll just do a brief recap:

Mylie turned 5 in November.  She's a blast to be around!  She lost her first tooth about a month ago and has another one that's loose.  She graduated from Preschool this month and she's excited to start kindergarten in August but most of all, she's excited to go to Seven Peaks this summer.

Addie turned 2 in October.  She was such an easy baby that I thought she was just going to be a breeze as a toddler.  I was mistaken.  She's adorable and therefore, she gets away with everything!  She'll be 3 in a few short months and I can't recall where the time has gone.  She's almost not even a toddler anymore.  She loves everything that Mylie does and she can't wait to start dance in the fall.

Mike and I sold our house last month!  We've lived in that home for 7 and a half years!  It sold a lot quicker than we anticipated so we're currently renting an apartment in Lindon and looking for another house.  We've been so busy that we actually haven't had much time to look but we're hoping we'll find something within the next 6 months or so.  Wish us luck!  I'd post a picture of our house but I don't have one on the computer and I'm far to lazy to download the one I have on my phone.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up on the blog this summer.  We don't have any fun plans but you never know what might come up!
