Disneyland

We took a family vacation to Disneyland a couple of weeks ago!! We were so excited for Mylie to experience all the magic! She loved it, and so did Mike and I. To me there is nothing as wonderful as seeing your children happy. She LOVED it! My parents and some friends came along with us, which made it that much more enjoyable!! Hopefully we'll get to take another trip to the most magical place on earth again sometime soon!!!

Life

Do you ever feel like life has just swallowed you up? That's how I feel lately. I feel like I'm one of those people who has just let my life control me instead of me controlling my life. The other day at work my boss said something to me that really made me think. He asked "Are you one of those people who has just let their life take them where it will? Are you happy about where you are in life? Did YOU get where you are in life, or did you just let life happen and did you let life decide where you'd end up?" I know "life happens" but I wish I could control it a little more. For the most part I'm happy about where life has taken me but there are so many things I want to do. So many things I could have control over but I let myself become comfortable and I am not willing to step outside my comfort zone. I want to be one of those people who just takes chances...just has faith that everything will work out. Why am I not like that? I can think of at least five things right now that I really want to do but I haven't done a single one of them. Why? It's making me crazy!!

Does anybody else ever feel this way? I hope it's just the winter blues....Spring is coming right?? I can't wait!!!

What the heck?

I haven't been in the mood for blogging these days (even though I have Halloween, a birthday and a Christmas to blog about) but I do have to get something off my chest. What the heck is going on with all these music videos of women dancing around in leotards? It's a new trend or something. I've seen four, count them, FOUR, music videos of famous women dancing around wearing nothing but skin tight leotards. I'm not a prude or anything, I just don't get it. Leotards? Seriously? We all know you have rockin' bodies ladies but honestly, I could have lived without seeing you dance in a leotard.

Isn't that the cutest freakin' playhouse you've ever seen in you life?! I LOVE IT!! Now if only I had an extra $8,000 burning a hole in my pocket...
