Gardner Village and the Great Salt Lake

Last weekend we went to Gardner Village and the Great Salt Lake. The light wasn't right (wrong time of day for pictures) but I shot some of Mylie anyway. I love it when I get a chance to take pictures of her! She's at that age where she won't look at the camera but I think we got a couple of good shots anyway.

Mike Likes To and Nicole Likes To

I saw this on my friend Tory's blog and I thought it was super funny so I had to do it. Here's what you do: Go to Google and type in "your name likes to" in quotations ("Nicole likes to") and then just list the first ten things that come up. Mike's is pretty good. Although, none of it is true for either one of us!

-Mike likes to whip stuff. (Hehehehe. I can just picture it now!)
- Mike likes to dance. (He totally doesn't. One time we went country dancing and he wouldn't dance even one song with me)
- Mike likes to meet people at urinals. (Hum.)
- Mike likes to rock! (This is true)
- Mike likes to hike. (I've never seen it)
- Mike likes to shoot with a Sony on Flicker. (Huh?)
- Mike likes to grunt to indicate his pleasure/displeasure! (This one has got to be my favorite!)
- Mike likes to fly. (I think Mike wishes he could fly. I guess he does like to fly in airplanes)
- Mike likes to produce. (Produce what exactly??)
- Mike likes to ride Loretta. (Looks like Mike and I need to have a talk! I'm told Loretta is a car)

Nicole Likes to...

- Nicole likes to show off her victory dress! (I know you're all jealous!)
- Nicole likes to take risks. (Anybody who knows me will tell you this is a bull faced lie. I'm not much of a risk taker)
- Nicole likes to think so. (Why yes I do.)
- Nicole likes to get sloppy drunk and hit on bartenders who aren't that good looking (or nice) and then drive home. (Yep that sounds like me! I'm not really sure what I did last night. Guess this explains a lot!)
- Nicole likes to party. (According to the previous "likes to" this is very very true.)
- Nicole likes to sing and enjoys singing at church. (After repenting for my bartender scandal of course)
- Nicole likes to eat Ramen Noodles, Fruity Pebbles and cheese pizza. (Yum)
- Nicole likes to get loud!
- Nicole likes to be the little spoon. (What???)
- Nicole likes to be sexy! (you know it!)

My Valentine's Day Gift

I had a terrible day at work the other day and it carried over into my home life. When I got home I just wasn't in the mood for ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING. The kitchen was a mess, laundry needed to be done, and Mylie was having a less than perfect day too. Poor Mike, I took it all out on him! I was going on and on about venting my frustrations and the poor guy was just taking it. Well after I had expressed all of my feelings (in a not so kind way that I'm not so proud of) Mike walked out of the room and came back with my Valentine's Day gift. He said he wanted to give it to me early because I was having such a bad day. I think it was to help ease the tension!! Either way, it was nice. So when I opened the gift I found myself a pair of tickets to Rascal Flatts! I really didn't deserve a gift at all because of the way I was treating him! What a nice hubby I have huh?! I was so surprised and it made my day so much better! Thanks honey for being such a good sport about everything and for getting me such a great gift for Valentine's Day! You're the best and I can't wait to go to the concert with you!!!
